In Romans 8:32 it reads, "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" Basically saying if God didn't even spare His own son then what wouldn't He do for us. This week we will look at some of those specific blessings we receive because of the cross.
As we continue in our series we discuss what it means to have God's law written on our hearts. When we got saved and acknowledged our need for Jesus, and what He accomplished at the Cross. We not only are free from the penalty of sin, but the power of sin as well.
In Matthew chapter 4, we learn of Jesus’ temptation and the accusing questions Satan asked Him. How Jesus answered how He dealt with the temptations teaches us how we should deal with temptation when it comes.
Romans 3:23 informs us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In Romans 6:23 it reminds us that the consequence of this is eternal death. There is great and incredible news, however, and it is found at the cross.
