Chances are, we have all experienced rejection in one way or another. It can affect us in life more than we realize - from the way we react to people to the very personality we have.
The Lord wants to uproot a spirit of rejection in our lives and allow us to live free to be - in every way - who we were created to be!

The Pharisee In Me

The Pharisees in Jesus' time were those who were quick to recognize and call out the sin in others yet at the same time minimize the sin in their own lives.
Jesus dealt harshly with this group which is a good warning to all of us. May we never think that we have earned any of the blessings the Lord lavishes on us.

The idea of serving others and adding value to people's lives was a major theme in Jesus' ministry.
Whether it was washing the feet of the disciples, tending to the widow, clothing the naked, or visiting the one in jail, Jesus made it known that real greatness is when we catch the vision that we are blessed to be a blessing!
"And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." Matthew 25:40
