As you read through the Book of Acts, you can't help but notice the extraordinary courage of Paul the Apostle. It is a natural desire to run from pain, imprisonments, especially death, yet Paul the Apostle faces these challenges with enthusiasm. Where does he get such courage to serve God like this?
The Book of Acts is a fast moving book, it’s hard to catch your breath between chapters. In every city Paul enters, he is hit with obstacles but also shown one great move of God after another. As a result, Paul lived with great expectation no matter what pressure was in front of him. Could it be that the Lord wants us to live this way too?
